That’s where he met Deborah—at Seacoast Church—where music and a shared love for the Lord brought them together. From worship rehearsals to writing songs side by side, their connection grew deeper through their mutual calling to serve God with their gifts.

Over time, their shared journey in music and ministry has also grown into a passion for helping other musicians. Whether it’s through co-writing, producing, or simply offering encouragement, they love helping others finish the songs they've started—especially those pieces that have been sitting unfinished, waiting for fresh inspiration.

Today, Nate and Deborah are a team—in life, in family, and in ministry. Whether leading worship, writing original music, mentoring fellow creatives, or recording in the studio, their heart is the same: to create music that draws people into the presence of God.

Our Story

Music has always been woven into the lives of Nate and Deborah Dunworth—from different beginnings, but with the same heartbeat for worship.

Nate’s musical journey began with dreams of being a rock star, fueled by a love for sound and performance. After earning a degree in Audio Engineering and Production from Full Sail University, he spent a year in Nashville working in the industry as an understudy, gaining hands-on experience and insight into the world of professional music. Nate is a skilled multi-instrumentalist, known especially for his talent with acoustic, electric, and bass guitar, but he's comfortable working with just about any instrument. Eventually, he returned to Charleston, South Carolina, ready for a new chapter.

Deborah grew up in Atlanta, Georgia as a pastor’s daughter, where the sounds of church worship shaped her earliest memories. She loved to get lost in those holy moments, drawn to the beauty of harmony and the power of heartfelt lyrics. Her passion led her to Seacoast Worship School, where she deepened her understanding of music theory and songwriting. Her favorite moments are still the simple ones—blending harmonies and crafting melodies that move the heart.

Heroes don't know that they are heroes,
their capes are invisible.
Mine came in and saved the day
when life seemed impossible.
